Who we are

Aperio Profiles is a trading name of Liberation Academy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16087057), registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU. These terms apply when you use the Aperio Workplace Profile or this website as an individual. Organisations have a separate agreement with us.

Age requirement

You must be 18 or over to use Aperio Profiles. If we learn that someone under 18 has bought or started an assessment, we will cancel it and refund any payment they made.

What the service is

Aperio Profiles provides a self-report workplace profiling instrument. It is not a clinical assessment, a diagnostic tool or a medical service. Results are generated from your own answers and reflect your experience at the time you completed it.

No diagnosis

This tool does not diagnose any condition, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia or any mental health condition. Pattern screening identifies patterns in your answers. Only a qualified clinician can make a diagnosis.

Recommendations and workplace adjustments

Your report describes working conditions that are likely to help you do your best work, and suggests adjustments you may want to discuss with your employer. Whether a particular step is a reasonable adjustment that your employer must make under the Equality Act 2010 is a legal question that depends on your circumstances. Your report does not decide that question and is not legal advice. You can use it to support a conversation with your employer, and you choose whether to share any of it.

Payment and access

Individual assessments are bought as a one-off payment. Prices are shown before you pay and VAT is added where it applies. An access code given to you by an employer or another organisation gives the same access. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details.

Refunds

If a technical problem stops you completing the assessment or receiving your results, contact us and we will put it right or give you a full refund. We do not give refunds once your profile has been generated and delivered, because the service has then been provided. This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Our responsibility to you

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for decisions you or anyone else makes on the basis of your results, including employment, clinical or personal decisions. Consider your results alongside professional advice where that is appropriate. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Your data

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We ask for your consent to process health-related data on a separate screen before the assessment starts. Accepting these terms is not that consent.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to you is the one in force when you bought or started your assessment.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
